After a power outage when I was doing a scan for viruses--I now get this errorerror loading C:|Windows|kbdhetax.dllDo I need this to load--I am now running in selective startup and took the check mark off this item--is this ok to do?1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Sue528, I would suggest you to boot the computer in normal mode to reproduce the error as that would put the key in the registry. If the issue reproduces go to the key which you have unchecked and make a note of the location and command of the key.Locate the key on the computer. And you may have to delete the key.
